RLHP runs two residential rehabilitation homes for the street children of Mysore, Asha Kirana for boys and Asha Bhavana for girls. Mysore City has more than 700 children living on the streets. RLHP decided in 1992 to start a rehabilitation programme for these street children.
RLHP has emerged as a resource center and imparts training on social work to other NGO representatives, Social activists and students Anubhava, a training center for human development was inaugurated on 3rd September 2003

Rights of children - their right to nutritious food, health, education, play and to ensure that they get opportunities for proper physical, mental, emotional and intellectual growth.
Right to health - Empowering people for building healthy

Imparting non-formal education to the poor in the slums, and dispelling their ignorance so that they are no longer exploited and oppressed and therefore, regaining their rights to live with dignity.
Care for the street children and to re-unite them with their families.
Mobilizing public opinion and lobbying with the government for the eradication of child labour and ensuring fundamental right to education for all children.

Set up the Oushadi Arogya Abhivruddhi Center (Indigenous Medicine for Health Development).
Set up a counseling center for HIV/AIDS persons.
Set up a training center where the laboratory will help people interested in promoting sustainable and people-based development.
