Asha Bhavana The number of girl street children in Mysore is less than the number of boys, but they are more vulnerable to abuse and exploitation and are forced into begging or sometimes into the flesh trade. Asha Bhavana currently houses 23 girls. Asha Bhavana now has a own building in Srirampura, on the outskirts of Mysore. Thanks to TdH for supporting the construction of the building.

Community based Health
RLHP perceives the Right to Health as critical for total development of slum dwellers.
The programme aims at building people's responsibility for sustaining their own health; people's health in people's hands. Teamwork of health coordinator, health animators, health committees, physicians and government health departments makes the programme very effective.
